The sourdough bread, as always, was AMAZING!!! However...the "Volcano" lacked luster. The 2 rounds that we received did not have that volcanic look that the pictures have. Yes, the garlic is there and the asiago cheese, however the visual of a explosion, as pictured, was not the same.
Would I buy this particular product again? Only if I was visiting a store and could have my choosing. Would I internet order from Boundin, again for other sourdough? Absolutely.

This new bread is out of the park! Incredible depth of flavors and a decedant savory treat. It IS, however, a huge mess if you want to try and cut it into proper slices. If the garlic and cheese were distributed throughout more evenly, it would be beautiful to eat. I ended up tearing it apart, putting in foil, sprinkling a little butter, wrapping in foil and warming in the oven. Like I said MESSY, but SO delicious.

Fantastic bread that makes the word 'sublime' come to mind when describing the taste. Asking me to review the bread when it costs a small fortune to receive it and I continue to order this bread is kind of ridiculous. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't have asked for a second helping. You can't go wrong with this garlic bread, so if you like garlic bread then quit reading this review and go to Boudin's Bread and make your order now.
