Hit of the T'day Table

I bought the Pull-Apart Turkey for our Thanksgiving Day table this year. Put it in the freezer when it arrived (the week before T'day) and pulled it out on Wednesday. Stuck it in the oven to warm up before dinner. It was our centerpiece -- everyone loved it!! It was fun to look at and the little rolls were delicious. We're still enjoying the loaf that's the body. Looks like we have a new tradition for Thanksgiving.

The pull apart turkey was a very nice addition to the table. The "feather rolls" came apart easily and the bread was very tasty. We even had some left over for sandwiches.

Gorgeous!! Made a great centerpiece after some slight surgical repairs! One of the dogs grabbed it off the island and managed to get a couple of the rolls! Tasted delicious. Loved the shape. The only thing that was wrong was the raisins for the the eyes were on the bottom so the turkeys face really didn't look like a turkey face. I used it as a centerpiexe.

I purchased three loaves of the Thanksgiving Turkey Sourdough Pull-Apart. Besides looking awesome of the serving table the bread was very delicious. You cannot get this quality of bread locally as it must be made in San Francisco to be "authentic" sourdough bread. The bread was a real "hit" as we served it at the Linesville VFW Post 7842 to about 50-60 folks that joined us for Thanksgiving dinner.

I ordered this pull-apart turkey bread online being very impressed by the picture. We received our box on time, right before Thanksgiving day. Thanks for that. When my husband opened the box, he just busted up laughing. The turkey bread looked like was made by kindergarten cook, far from the picture. It didn’t affect the taste, why I am giving this review 4 stars. One extra star for making my family laughing hard. I felt like I received my order from Alibaba not from the famous sourdough bakery. I wish I could add a picture to my review.

I sent this to my brother in Pittsburgh, PA. Having been born and raised in Berkeley we all love the taste of SF sourdough. It brings back great memories. My sister-in-law in her thank you note indicated that they immediately consumed 2 rolls before putting the rest in the freezer for Thanksgiving day. She also said there nothing can compare to SF sourdough.
