Boudin's wonderful sourdough bread is the best you will ever find, arriving straight from their bakery in San Francisco. I like the long loaves to slice for sandwiches or garlic bread, but whatever shape you choose you won't be disappointed.
REAL Sourdough Bread!

My sourdough loaves arrived yesterday, and I just enjoyed a slice of REAL sourdough toast with boysenberry jam with my breakfast! Being a California native -- now living in Florida for the past 14 years and 17 years in North Carolina before that -- who always had fresh sourdough bread as a staple in my home growing up and until I moved to North Carolina in my 30s, it has always been a challenge to find the real thing on the East Coast. I do wish Boudin or other California sourdough retailers might consider more distribution in my area. What I have been able to find where I live for at least the past year has been what I would call "white bread" and has no flavor or sour dough tang to it. Boudin's is a wonderful treat!

I haven't had sourdough bread fron San Francisco since 1988. Mine arrived about two weeks ago fresh and delicious, just as I remembered. I would highly recommend Boudin's Sourdough Bread. You can't get the real thing on the east coast.
