Delicious sourdough English muffins, but too thick to suit me. The quality was definitely there, as usual, from Boudin. It was just too much of a good thing. I think, if they were about 2/3 as thick as they are presently, then they would be a better product.

Not your regular English muffin. It is very dense and doesn't have the familiar "nooks and crannies" to crisp up when toasting. Nonetheless, they are very good with butter and homemade jam.

After receiving a less than stellar shipment, Boudin immediately sent a replacement shipment, with no questions asked, that was perfect. For native San Franciscans who live far away, they are a perfect touch of home. They can be frozen with no decrease in the quality of the product. Well worth the cost of the product and shipping charges.
